Is window tint legal in California?
Yes, but there are specific limits. California law allows you to tint the rear windshield and back side windows as dark as you like. However, front side windows must allow at least 70% of light in (which is a very light tint). We will help you choose a shade that gives you the look you want while keeping you compliant with local laws to avoid tickets.
How long does the installation take?
For most standard sedans and trucks, a full tint installation takes between 2 to 4 hours. If your vehicle requires the removal of old, bubbling tint, it may take longer. We recommend dropping your vehicle off, but we do offer same-day service for most appointments.
Can I roll my windows down right away?
No. We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down. This allows the moisture used during installation to dry and the film to fully cure (adhere) to the glass. Rolling them down too soon can cause the tint to peel or shift.
Will the tint interfere with my GPS or phone signal?
No. In the past, old “metallic” tints would block signals. We install SolarFree® Ceramic and Carbon films, which are non-conductive and 100% signal-friendly. You will have zero interference with GPS, Satellite Radio, or Bluetooth.
